NFT fans can now shop in-store for their delicious non-fungibles in Dubai’s new digital asset emporium. Located in the Mall of Emirates, the Dubai NFT store looks sure to turn heads and open (digital) wallets.
Artists, public figures, and a wide array of influencers attended an opening ceremony of the store. Which forms a notable part of the ftNFT suite of Web3 offerings, and aims to build a ‘community-centric NFT marketplace’.
The new NFT shop highlights a growing trend of physical Web3 retail spaces. Prior to this opening, back in April, premium British department store Harvey Nichols launched an NFT store in Hong Kong. Then, in July, the Solana Foundation opened a high end blockchain-themed boutique in New York . That space focused “primarily on onboarding folks to the Solana way of life,” But, the ftNFT Dubai store leads the way as the first in the UAE and MENA region of the world.
Over the years, this region has blossomed into a retail and shopping hub of the world. Therefore, people fly from across the globe to purchase unique, high-quality brands. So, to tap into this incredible market, the new store sits at the heart of the hub and offers customers the unique opportunity to purchase digital assets.
Per ftNFT “As an extension to the Fastex brand, ftNFT shops are providing a magical experience and a new pipeline of products. The shops are made to be a gateway to digital art, music, and other ways of creating, utilizing, and monetizing the Non-Fungible Tokens.”
