Vast Web3 ecosystem, Ripple, has doubled down on its commitment to the NFT industry, announcing the second wave of beneficiaries in its mammoth $250 million NFT creator fund.
Through the initiative, Ripple aims to promote and foster NFT projects built on the XRP Ledger. Essentially, providing a springboard for tech start-ups to launch meaningful experiences on the up and coming blockchain. As a result, setting aside a whopping $250 million to support the next generation of NFT projects on its infrastructure.
In its latest announcement, Ripple will lend a helping hand to a number of exciting platforms built on the XRP Ledger, including potential game-changers such as Web3 platforms, 9LEVEL9, Anifie, Capital Block, NFT Master, SYFR Projects, ThinkingCrypto and Cross Metaverse Avatars. All with a grand plan to raise the NFT stakes and profile of XRP Ledger within the Web3 environment.
Ripple first announced its NFT creator fund in September 2021, and has continued to promote it despite a recent downturn in NFT activity, initially sharing its first wave of recipients back in April as it continues to explore and innovate within the Web3 space.
XRP Ledger represents an open source, decentralized network that allows the efficient tokenization of assets, providing a fully-scalable layer 1 network that has the power to compete with the biggest players in the industry.
