Ready for an adventure? Yuga Labs has announced another outing into its eagerly awaited Otherside Metaverse. This exciting development dubbed the ‘Second Trip’, follows on from the first venture in July.
According to Yuga Labs, this ‘Second Trip’ will feature new mechanics and spaces, which will result in a richer gaming experience and allow the world to open more frequently. Furthermore, with this development, Yuga will continue to expand the already fantastical new world where users get to roam, explore, and interact with fellow gamers.
But wait, there’s more!
Yuga’s ‘Second Trip’ to Otherside will kick off at the end of March 2023 and include a series of as yet unrevealed developments. According to Yuga, Otherside intends to be an interoperable world that will allow users to play as their NFTs.
Yuga’s tech-savvy players will also be able to use the Otherside SDK to create custom experiences on Otherdeed plots. Which will effectively allow Yuga Labs to reach a wider audience while also enriching its vast ecosystem. To achieve this, the platform has tested several in-game building tools which users can customize for their virtual environments.
Don’t just take our word for it, see for yourself
Yuga has released in-engine footage of a Bone environment which is one of the wild biomes in Otherside. In this trailer of sorts, we’ll see Bored Ape Curtis searching for “a glowing, pulsing stone” by traversing the Bonedeed desert, along with Blue and Voyager.
Yuga’s second trip to the Otherside is a long-awaited experience sure to please current gamers, attract new ones, and keep everyone wanting more.
