Manchester United and Tezos Share Free NFTs to Launch Web3 Initiative

Manchester United has entered into the next phase of its incredible partnership with the Tezos Network by debuting its first ever NFTs free to avid members of its global network of supporters.

Back in February, Manchester United scored a monumental sponsorship agreement with the ecological team at Tezos through cutting a deal to represent the footballing giant in its blockchain-based endeavours. Now however, that relationship has matured, as Tezos and Manchester United look to build an entire Web3 community.

Free NFTs for All

To mark this most notable of all occasions, the forward-thinking duo will launch a series of brand-new NFTs. The first of which, fans will have the honour of claiming for a grand old price of nothing. Therefore, letting football supporters own a piece of Man-U history at the best possible price point.

According to the team, the NFTs will come tied to a range of rewards and exclusive experiences, as well as providing access to an exciting virtual space within Discord, where those taking part can discuss the future of the team in addition to sharing ideas with regards to future NFT drops.

Later down the line, Manchester United will look to launch further incredible NFTs, both paid and free, with the follow up collection already in the works, which will retail at a cost of 30 UK pounds. Meanwhile, sending 20% of all proceeds directly to the Manchester United Foundation to aid charitable initiatives.
