The Trial of Jimmy The Monkey aims to expand the Bored Ape lore in the web3 space. The leading web3 brand took to Twitter to announce that a short film will kick start the new BAYC narrative. The official Twitter thread announces that “pieces of the narrative will be released along the way.” Further, Yuga Labs also tells its community to pay attention to the little details, as these are important further along the narrative. As of the time of writing, BAYC is playing this one close to the chest. The Apes proclaim the project is “some really weird shit.” And that’s pretty much all there is to know as of the moment.
In its official “Trial Of Jimmy The Monkey” announcement thread, BAYC concludes and delivers details on the special mint tiers. BAYC or MAYC holders who also hold a BAKC are in their own separate tiers. Meanwhile, standalone holders of either BAYC or MAYC receive different tier rewards, as showcased in the picture below.
There are four different tiers in total. Tier One is a Mutant Ape, Tier 2 is a Mutant Ape plus a BAKC. Moreover, Tier 3 is a Bored Ape. Tier 4 is a Bored Ape and a BAKC Dog. Also, Tier 4 is the highest-ranking tier in the bunch. These are most of the details present on the official Twitter thread of the Bored Ape Yacht Club.
